In AMR Walk-BY Solution the consumption data is remotely downloaded from the meter via a Hand-Held Unit (HHU) using wireless communications, and is uploaded to the backend system for billing and other purposes. The solution can be provided with Connect/Disconnect capabilities enabling the utility company to remotely disconnect the supply to the consumers who fail to pay on time, or for whatever other reasons that warrant disconnection. The supply can be remotely re-connected as per requirement. The solution using tamper proof smart meters prevents commercial losses.

Racemosa e-Solution using Hybrid communications is an end-to-end flexible, scalable, configurable and easy to use comprehensive AMI Solution with pre-paid/post-paid capabilities for utility companies, with mix of pre-paid and post-paid consumers.
